Thread: Bitcoins

    Default Re: Bitcoins

One day physical currencies will go as the Dodo, which for sellers of coins will be nice down the road, Funny that Flexcoin of Canada shutting down and MtGox filing for bankruptcy protection and both of these exchanges claiming hacking for the loss of over a million or of Bitcoin's and cash, that they really don't seem really fazed by it.

Electric money transfers have been around for a while, but this is just a unregulated and free inflationary valued intangible internet commodity. The concept is good, but not for this decade and is to much of a risk.

Bitcoins and other unregulated currencies are much too much of a risk and, IMHO, will always be so. They will always be liable to hacking and a gift to criminals and gangsters who wish to launder their illgotten gains.
It seems to me that the concept of unregulated currencies is a dream of extreme libertarian philosophy like that espoused by the Tea Party.

Perhaps you're right but I regard the Tea Party as being in favour of minimal or no state involvement which I assume would mean no national bank.
