Thread: Selling on ebid

  1. #1

    Question Selling on ebid

Hi, I am another transfer from ebay. Have been on ebay since 1999 with collectibles. Just looking for some feedback on this site. Looks like sales are difficult.I have listed few items and hope it works out. Left ebay due to costs as most have. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks,Ray

Welcome! Sales are slower here than TOS, but they are here. It is a much different environment. Some great info here:

Hi HOMEPLATEINPA and welcome to eBid!

Checked out your listings.......interesting sports records (books). Would recommend you change RUS to 7-10 day listings with 10 auto repost. This will give you greater visibility. Also create a signature link to your listings, so others can more readily look at your listings.

    Hi and welcome

Like any auction site it is a rollercoaster. I went 7 days no sales, then on Sunday 11 sales and on Monday 17 sales.

I agree with burgyeb RUS will put your items bottom. 10 days with 10 auction reposts is best.

There will be many more who will give you more advice

I do wish you the very best for many sales

    Kind regards
    Alan

Success on Ebid for me is because I list in thousands rather than tens or hundreds. I can afford to do that because of no listing fee, only fees when I sell.
