Righty! Just a bit of fun mind.

First Referendum Result Prediction, by me!

Based on the number of folk now registered in the electoral register multiplied by a "Yes Likelihood Rating" produced by Credit Suisse for each of the Scottish Local Authorities I predict, with no confidence whatsoever, that the result will be a hugely convincing:

    Yes: 50.29%
    No: 49.71%

Which means, that it needs just less than 25,000 people to spoil their ballot papers by writing the "Freedom Speech" from Braveheart onto them in order to hand it to "No".

not read any of the the threads here or really followed it via tv/newspaper but wondered what the yes voters will gain for Scotland or will they regret it and wished they had voted no?

we are doing it for our children we do not need nuclear weapons on our land
Tony Blair and Donald Dewer stole thousands of miles of our seas behind our backs
we are one of the richest nations in the world

We are being lied to on an hourly basis now by the UK government
The BBC is broadcasting propaganda as its the state TV (if you do not believe me on this why have 75,000 signed a petition and hundreds have stopped paying their licence)
this is how bad they are

So two Scots did over their fellow Scots, eh? Makes a change from blaming everything on those nasty English who keep picking on you poor wee things.

Got to admit, I've always liked the BBC but in this referendum campaign there's no way that they can be described as impartial. Their output is such that they really should be registered with the electoral commission as a No campaigning organisation.

You know it's gone too far when a column like this appears in a No supporting newspaper...http://www.theguardian.com/commentis...nd-journalists

In the interests of unbiased and balanced reporting, I would draw your attention to the fact that it is not only aspects of the Referendum debate that the BBC has not reported on fully.

The word on the street is that BBC staff have been ordered not to make any public comment on these matters. I do not know if this is true or mischievous gossip.

Well, today is the day. Which ever way the vote goes, I hope it will be for the best benefit of the Scottish people. Good Luck Scotland!

If anyone is looking at results later.

My guess is that if Borders, Dumfries & Galloway, and Orkney vote Yes, you could be looking at a big Yes win.
If Clackmannanshire, Dundee, and Angus vote No, then it could be a big No win.

Those are the areas that I would put money on to vote no and yes respectively.
