If anyone is staying up, or getting up early...
There's no exit poll being taken today, so the first idea you'll get is when the results start coming in
First results are expected around 2-2.30am with the last ones some time around 5.30.
Final result to be announced around "breakfast time", estimated at between 6.30 and 7.30.
This is all subject to delays from recounts and wotnot.
Western Isles may also be delayed due to fog preventing the ballot box collection aircraft from flying (unless it's cleared by now). If this is the case then the final declaration may also be delayed.
On that note, I'm off to bed. It's been a long month in the Electoral Registration Office and quite frankly, I'm knackered.
Wake me up if the result comes early...
One last post before I go...
A final twist in the whole campaign.
Ipsos Mori have just announced that their polls should be regarded as invalid if turnout is greater than 80%.
And that's it. I'm off.
