The latest news is:-

Our duo have arrived in Kandy after a 3 hour bus ride from Dambulla & are at present in a "very nice" hotel with excellent home cooked Sri Lankan meals, The Sevana.
A big improvement on the last stopover by all accounts.

Visits have been made to a Kandyan Dance programme (including fire walking) & to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, during one of its rare unveilings.
They are just 10 minutes walk from Kandy Lake also.

Hopefully, pix of these places & events are to follow shortly.

PS. The eBid Tee is in the wash - to have monkey urine removed!
