Mackwoods Tea Tour

Although they've seen tea growing at Darjeeling in India, this is their first tour through the processing operation.

Our heroes have moved on by "luxury" train to Ella (pix next post) but here are a few last shots of the somewhat chilly Nuwara!
At least they got to try out their bomber jackets!

I have been informed that due to Wi-Fi issues at their location, we may not have any reports for a few days.

Having found some available Wi-Fi we now find ourselves with Bro & Sil at Mirissa Beach.
This is at the extreme southern coast & they find themselves again in hot/humid conditions & with the ever present mosquitos!
They were able to share the costs of a 5 hour Taxi ride with a German fellow traveler named Johannes, who features in a couple of pix.
I believe the next intended location is back to Galle & then to Colombo for the Navam Perahera Festival on the 16th (also Sils birthday - 21 again!)
