Domestic shipping per order - is it possible?

Hi everyone, as a newbie to ebid (so glad I found you all too ) I am gradually finding my way around. I would like to offer domestic shipping per order as opposed to per item. Having looked in all the drop down menus etc in the shipping section, I cannot find this option.
Is it possible to set this up please, and any advise on how to do it would be fantastic.

Welcome to eBid. If you go to your 'My eBid' page and look at the column on the left hand side you will see the defaults tab. I think it is possible to set up the MIC (multiple item checkout) from there with the prices you want.

Having set up your MIC, it is a good idea to draw buyers attention to this by adding a comment using My Notices which can be found in My Options. When potential buyers look at your listing they will still find a price and a price plus postage. Unless you point out that you only charge per order it is not clear.

Additionally, you may want to address this on your About Me page. I have the following on my About Me page regarding combined shipping:

Combined shipping (buyer pays shipping for the first item, all other jewelry
items purchased at the same time ship FREE) is available on all jewelry items
purchased at the same time and mailed to the same address, regardless of buyer
location, except where noted in individual listings. Ask seller (use Q & A
in listing) about combined shipping possibilities for non-jewelry
items.

The multiple item shipping is a great facility.

Unfortunately it is global rather than store-wide.

I can't do for books what I do for stamps.
