The sad thing is not everything justifies sending it priority mail.

There used to be another line where the amount for Standard Post was displayed. It is not there anymore, only Media Mail is displayed.
what shape and what what weight did you put in and where to?

I put in 15oz for 'Package' to a USA destination and I did get the standard post option.

    Edit:
I did the 2lbs by using your information but using my zip code shipping to eg: Hawaii using the 'package' option and I got the standard post option.
But, when I used your zip codes from SAN DIEGO CA 92109 to SAN DIEGO CA 92119 I did not get the standard post option - are both zip codes correct?
    They seem awfully close together.

Here is my issue. I could care less if I can print out shipping labels online for Standard Post. I can go to the post office. My issue is customers are getting "service is not available" when viewing my listings. The rates can be found at the USPS web site. Why is that not reflected on the listings when being viewed?
Sent the powers that be a copy of the screen with an issue.....waiting on response. First they told me they could not replicate the issue.

I didn't have to change my SH fees because of this new charge for now. Later down the road, who knows?
    Add to the above
packaging, labels, tape. All of this could be an added expense if not using priority mail.
I've used U.P.S. for years, my boxes can be very heavy. 30 - 70 lbs average, U.P.S. raises their rates when fuel prices go up, fuel prices go down rates stay where they are waiting for the next fuel increase.
U.P.S. charges extra for areas out of the mainstream.
All in all it is my opinion our U.S. Postal rates and what I am offered are best for me.

I dug a little deeper and found out that it's still available, but only at the Post Office, we cannot print the postage online anymore, and their website doesn't include it in their Calculate a Price options.

I checked some of my Ebid listings and they all say that Standard Post is not available. I can understand this, the calculated shipping cost won't work if USPS no longer gives out the rates. And since the cost is based on distance, I can't change it to any set price.

On the other hand, I found that Priority Mail has several new options, and the lower-cost ones seem to be about the same as the Standard Post ones were.

The bad news is that I now have to go through all my listings and change the shipping option.

The good news is that I now get to use the free Priority Mail boxes for shipping.

We're working on this today. Bit of a pain as USPS Standard Post was a popular shipping method.

USPS Standard Post service has been removed for zones 1 – 4.

See http://postcalc.usps.gov/ZoneCharts/ to find the zones from your own zip.

    For example

    Sending FROM
    Miami 331**

    Sending TO
    307** = Zone 5 (Standard Post available)
    308** - 312** = Zone 4 (Standard Post not available)

You will find prices are returned correctly if you select a zip that is at least zone 5 from your location.

How do I add priority shipping option, in bulk, to all my listings?

Don't forget that USPS Priority Mail (03 in the eBid Spreadsheet) requires dimenesions for products. If you haven't added dimensions then these will have to be added individually.

You can use the fixed size Priority Mail options though without adding dimensions

USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (15)
USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box (24)
USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box (16)
USPS Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box (20)
