Can't download Ninjalister :-(

Hi Guys,

I hope somebody can help me, I'm trying to download Ninja but keep getting this message 'The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.'

I have installed the new version of air, I'm running windows 8.1.

I'd appreciate any help with this.

Can you let us know which browser you are using.

Can you try by right clicking the link to download and choosing Save As..

I had this once before. I don't know if my solution will work in your case. In mine the error message was spurious and the actual problem was the Ninja Lister installer being unable to delete a directory due to it containing extra files that it wasn't expecting. Hi Gazza,

I'm using Yahoo, I've tried downloading from the link and it downloads, tries to install and then I get the error message.

I've also tried saving as and launching that way but the same thing happens.

Seems OK with Windows 8.1.

Created a new TXT file and altered extension to AIR and got the error you mentioned.

I suspect the download isn't complete or possibly temporary.

ninjalister_1.13.air is around 2.9MB in size

http://uk.ebid.net/spreadsheet/ninjalister_1.13.air

Move download to desktop and ensure it's 2.9MB in size then try the install. Fingers crossed
