    Default ebid suggestions - PPpay

ebid, just like ebay, own their own e-payment system (PPpay), however, unlike Paypal, PPpay is only used on ebid.

As PPpay's fees are lower than Paypal's (only by 0.1%, but then every little helps), why are ebid not actively promoting their PPpay service to the likes of online retailers and service providers such as Royal Mail, Clinton Cards etc. ? They could drop their fees to say, 3.0% in order to boost the use of the PPpay service. Thus generating money that can then be used to properly promote both ebid and PPpay.

Until PPPay fully overcomes the problem of payments being left in limbo, I don't think it can be recommended to anyone. It's not really fit for purpose just on eBid (though it is not restricted to eBid use; it can be used anywhere two people want to use it) never mind out in the wider world.

Whilst the idea has some merit, as Astra says, PPpay needs to become a lot more mature before it could take on the world.

Say about 10 million dollars backing and a staff of 20.

See my series perhaps number 6 or 7

If Mark & Gazza would like to PM me, I would be glad to take up the role of kicking PPpay back into life. I am in the position of requiring a job, so would relish such a challenge.
