Default What is the advantage of a Store?

What is the advantage of a Store on eBid?

Please excuse, this navigating on here is a bit of a do!!

Checked out a few Stores, and a number of sellers have a "Store" but their stock would not fill a carrier bag.

    Q. Would it not make sense to list, say 50 -100 items, then, open a "Store"

When U locate an item UR looking for.
On a seller's front page with the description of the item, at the bottom of the description to the left of the page there is the following "More from the Seller" (View all)

    Q. Does this not cancel out the need for a store?

    Thanks in advance

The pros and cons of having a store are:

    Pros:

    Better seller identity.
Easier for buyers to navigate around your listings.
Your store appears in the store list - so extra exposure.
Your store can be watched by buyers.
More chance of multiple sales because the items are linked within the store.
You have your personal shop categories to aid buyer navigation.
It is easier giving out links (externally) to your eBid store than it is for an individual item - the item will eventually finish the store is fixed.
The categories within a store can be more important than the categories provided by eBid.
And best of all it is free to have a store - on the bay you would pay £19.99 a month (every month).

    Cons:

    None.

    I agree with deanosaur1972

I should image most people's stores are works in progress and people list items when they can or they have sold everything

If you have a named store you can direct people to it via web browsers.

Also if you spot something you like, you might find more that you like in a seller's store.

Buyers are much more likely to buy more than one item from you if they are browsing in your store particularly if it is well stocked.

My mindset is that unless i have hundreds of similar and linked items then i don't view a store as relevant....i've got the option of using this option ....but haven't.
    Why?
like i say i don't feel that i have enough to offer in any one category to make it wothwhile and therefore look serious. Also....i know that not many ....if any at all buyers will find my listings while casually browsing Ebid and instead they will discover my listings via a Google search, and the idea being that they will also see that i have other listings and will browse these (if they wish) in the usual way.

Maybe in the future when i decide to let go of my of my treasure i may need to open a store....but until i can ,make it a big and interesting one then i won't do this.

I'm trying my best to open a "shop" on here, it is so difficult to navigate, I can understand why there are so few Stores on here.
Example; open a new store fill in all that is requested, and a pop up appears "must have more than 4 characters"
So frustrating, stumbling about on here
