Rained heavily overnight. Fine but cloudy this morning. Raining now
Still, we do need the rain to fill the reservoirs and aquifers in case we have another summer like last year. So I am glad to see it.

I, rather foolishly, paid attention to the BBC weather app.

As it was breezy and sunny with clear skies I hung some washing out to (at least partially) dry before the wind and rain arrived - according to them.

Then I headed off for a shower.

Came down to find the wind and rain had paid no attention to the BBC app and had arrived an hour early.

Everything wetter than when it went out and I had to recover one shirt from a tree and one from next door's garden. Those two need washing again.

Soon. Soon. Cloudy here. Yesterday I, too, hung out some wash on the line.....but suddenly the wind and rain hit and the shirts went flying, just like astral's. Oh well - at least they didn't land in any Chicken spit.
