I've never heard of the road being lifted like that either Deano. Sounds horrendous. Hope all is able to be rescued from the shed &, as Graham says, that your house is ok.

It was a mere "flash in the pan" here last night - not the interesting forked stuff that I like (snap, Astral) and it didn't last more than a few minutes either.

For all that it is fresher here - about 77*F, overcast with patches of blue. Just right for me!

House is fine thanks. Haven't checked out the cellar yet but judging by the volume of water that ended up in my back garden it should be fine. Started to dry out some machinery from the sheds.

As a bonus my car looks the cleanest it has been for years.

A problem with the hot weather....

The hot air is being brought in from the continent by the jetstream, so you are breathing in air that the Fench have just been belching and f*rting into.

Started nice here too and walked the rabbit in the dry. Now it's a little wet, so rabbit is sheltering in his little tent and I am indoors
