I really like your good attitude. Sadly ebid is shrinking not growing. People like me are simply letting the listings they have remaining here run out. Its just not worth the effort.

I know all the other posters items are flying off the shelves and they cant hold down the fast paced action they are receiving. Sadly this has not been my experience.

Hope everyone wakes up to that and comes here.
I dont mind paying to sell. I make the money when buying my stock since I am able to get things so cheap. To sell it and pay a fee or list it and not sell and pay no fees I know which I prefer.

Adruml I agree. I think many opportunities have been lost or simply just let slide by.

We all hope that ebay latest move will bring more members and sales.
But as we alll know it never happens
Ebay know how far they can push their users.

The stats that matter are declining at a time wen they should be rising.

hence my series of ideas for ebid as the "status quo" is not working.

I suspect that ebid uk is much busier than ebid US. I wouldn't describe my sales as so fast paced I can't cope, but they have improved year on year with the real change starting when I started to list both regularly and often.

Yes the USA is different. Ebid could benefit by placing an "open" for business sign over here.

What makes you feel eBid UK is busier than US? Just curious.
After I read this I looked up some closed popular items locations UK vs US. I was surprised.

I have only been here since 2010 and haven't looked into early days forum postings.
Since US site is newer were there as many UK moaners back in the eBid UK beginnings or still not as many as US beginnings?

I wouldn't even begin to guess - the situations are so different - populations so different and the world of e-commerce has changed beyond recognition. When I first started out on the dark side ANYTHING sold!

(I remember when all this was fields)
