So often we see sellers complaining in the forums that they have had one or more listings removed for an unspecified violation. Usually they complain that they do not know which listing it was that caused the problem and therefore run the risk of re-listing the offending item or using the offending format once again.
Would it be possible to create a new section within the MY EBID area and place offending listings in there once they have been closed by Support? A VIOLATIONS area would allow the seller to see which listing/s caused the problem and permit them to change the listing/s to comply with eBid's rules. Listings that are for items that are not permitted on eBid could be shown in a "locked" state which prevents the seller from editing, re-listing or duplicating the item, but does still inform the seller which item/s is/are the problem before letting them delete the listing/s.
In addition to helping the sellers, the new VIOLATIONS tab should drastically cut down on the number of complaints / questions sent to Support as the seller tries to discover which listing/s caused the problem/s. Surely anything that allows the Support team to concentrate on more pressing matters has to be a good thing?
It would be really helpful if someone could let us know whether this suggestion is being considered, will be implemented, or has been rejected. Thank you.
