Glad I was not alone in not understanding the question. I couldn't ask in the original thread either as the topic starter asked people not to respond to the thread... I just guessed and voted for yes.

and, thanks to aggressive advertising on one of eBay's threads several years ago, some of us only paid £14.99.

Why is this not the case when so many are now leaving TOS?

What were you told that payment would buy you? If it was anything like when I joined up it was a certain level of access to the site as it existed at that time. Nothing else was promised or implied.

Ditto this. IMHO eBid would do better to continue to expand its social media presence. Just my 2 cents...
