Unusual that just the offending post goes and not the whole thread, so if that was admin then nice work.

It could have been deleted (shredded the evidence) by the poster after I revealed I had reported it. I have the negatives though.

Because, unfortunately, reporting a post usually results in a whole thread going. If, in this instance, eBid had just targeted the offending post that would be a positive move on their part. I had no problem with the threads or individual's differing views contained in them so, where possible, I would rather not lose whole threads because of one person's actions.

Agree, the rudeness and arrogance of such a post deprives it of any credibility and derails any discussion.
The post should be removed but the discussion should remain.

i wondered why i could not contact Rokin on the boards, so he has been removed completely then. the thread has been deleted completely

He had contributed to two threads, the second one was more offensive (or comical, depending on your sense of humour) and that is the thread that has been removed completely

As Astral mentioned thread which this thread refers to (poll thread) removed. Other one reported on advertise eBid still there.

He's still on the selling site.(remove the 'c' & add 's' to end)
I'm guessing that he's been suspended on the forum & that it incurs a removal of pm rights.His sig & avatar have also disappeared so perhaps that is also part of the suspension process.
