Default What's for supper? Any ideas?

So very tired of cooking, and so very out of ideas. So very into a rut. Any vegetarian, gluten-free ideas?

Probably fish (we do eat fish, so not pure vegetarian), or fake chicken, left-over potato salad, some sort of veg.....?

Omlette? Left-over veg soup? Some of each? None of the above?

What are you having.........maybe I could get there in time......

mmmmm. That sounds, good mael. They make some nice gluten-free pastas now. And I have chives in my garden. No philly on hand, tho. A cream sauce would work.

Quick, nip round to M&S - they do a lovely vegetable moussaka, I can thoroughly recommend it.

Sounds good! Nothing nearby to nip to, tho, here in the country! I could maybe find some funny mushrooms out back in the woods...

I did myself a simple omellette du fromage.
Food for a lazy, oops, meant busy, single man.

Had Tuna straight from the tin at lunch!

Been busy decorating the hall in my flat, so easy-peasy is the rule of the day.

I have some broccoli which I am toying with making a cheese sauce and putting under the grill and frying the left over pots from yesterday. Sometimes I cook some pasta and throw in some broc near the end, drain, add some cream or cream cheese and a glug of wine and grated cheese on the top which is nice and easy and only uses one saucepan.

    Well as you like fish.....

Probably the best tasting fish that I have ever tasted is Nin (Pla Nin). Combine that with curried pumpkin, water lily stems and rice and you have an absolute knockout meal. Nin is best cooked by frying or by BBQ - the taste of the skin when crispy is out of this world. I used to go out and catch these fish myself in the rice canals and the locals would know I had a really good catch if my hands were covered in cuts and dripping blood.

Difficult to find in this country though, so maybe a short trip of about 6,000 miles....... take bandages...
