In the early 1980s I lived in Kinross, Scotland, one sunny Sunday afternoon I was at a huge indoor boot sale. Over the tanoy system cars makes and number plates were called out for owners to return to their vehicles, this was happening at quite regular intervals. I thought nothing of it until I read the article in The Sunday Post the following Sunday under the heading 'Senseless Slaughter' it was dog owners who'd left their dogs in their car being called to their cars, 6 dogs died that afternoon, 6 owners learnt a hard lesson.

I wrote this, along with help from a few members several years ago, please take a few minutes to read it if you have pets.
