Ghost Categories for Stores

I would find it really useful to be able to create Ghost Categories within my Stores pointing to Categories in my other Stores.

An example where this would be beneficial: I have recently opened a new store selling Postcards. However I also have transport postcards in my “Buses Galore”, “Trams Galore” and “Railway Relics” stores. I would much prefer to have all these postcards in my Postcard store with Ghost Categories pointing to them from my Buses Galore”, “Trams Galore” and “Railway Relics” stores.

As would making postcards a main category.

A further thought there ought to be a restriction of how many Ghost categories allowed in a Store else it could be misused.

Wouldn't it be easier just to allow a seller to put his own items into two store categories?

I like the purpose of this as I have similar problems.

Bump again! This would be really useful, implemented either as Ghost Categories in Stores or to be able to list in more than one Store.
