    When daughter was diagnosed with type I diabetes 30 years ago age 6, we were taught how to draw up the insulin and use a syringe. About a year later a 'pen' was introduced and I think that is now the norm. So much easier to use and not quite so much clock watching as the insulin is applied when required. And she has no problems travelling with her supplies

    Bill hope it works for you am afraid somer has to take tablets & 3 injections a day & 5 blood tests a day, also watch his diet which is hard for him at the moment having stopped smoking for 12 weeks.
