Hi there! We are also new to eBid and trying to learn the site and demographic. We are considering to upgrade to the seller+ account as well. Let us know your experience with it thus far. I found this article to be helpful: http://tamebay.com/2013/11/is-it-tim...t-on-ebid.html Good luck out there!

    Welcome from another newbie.

I have only been here 4 days but made my first sale today!

As an ebid newcomer myself, I'm not in a position to offer much advice, but from what I've learned so far:

    - Make good use of the forums. Everyone is really friendly and helpful and have helped me to get the best out of my listings with good advice re photographing items, pricing and shipping.

    - Be prepared to do a bit more work: you need to be more careful with keywords to facilitate uploading to Google Shopping. I'm still learning that one myself, I'm sure others can tell you more.

-Post your items on social media. There is an ebid Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/6557656454/ .
You can also use Pinterest and Twitter (I'm not much of a Tweeter so others will have to help you there).

    - Enjoy keeping more of your profits. ebids's FVF is minimal, and there is no FVF on postage.

    - Be patient. Things are slower here than on TOS. but it is nicer. Much nicer!

    Good luck!

For all you newbies the best advice is keywords. Make sure you make the most of the titles and get the keywords right. The majority of sales will come through searches made by new buyers to eBid, primarily through Google. Get the keywords right with good items aa good price and you will get sales.

On the price front I always suggest around 5% lower than you would sell on eBay for. That leaves you an increased margin and gives the incentive for potential buyers to look at eBid and hit the buy button.

Can I suggest the OP add Nail Varnish Polish and the make to her titles as a search for either of these would not find your items
