Just been checking on something and ended up on eBay, not to buy something honest! Not what I wanted but I did come across this title:

"Genuine Imitation Fox Tail with strings to attach to bike handlebars or cars"

Now is it me or can a genuine fox tail not be an imitation or an imitation not be genuine for that matter.

It would appear that its genuine in the sense that its a genuine imitation of a real fox tail.....but i have to admit that to my mind it seems to a nonsense description. Amusing ....all the same.

Back in the 50s (ah me!) there was a chewing gum ad in the US which stated that the gum was the only one with real artificial fruit flavouring. I cannot remember the name but it was not the well known brand.

It's no different than the genuine imitation Davey Crockett Coonskin cap, PF Fliers make you run faster and jump higher and so on. Sounds like an old TV or magazine ads to me. Not a big deal.
