How do I contact ebid please ?

Hi

I have just had one of my sales deleted as it was claimed to be a duplicate. Now whilst I have no intention of breaking any rules here, this does cause me ( and I dare say others ) a problem

Used stamps are not the same. The condition of the stamp and the varying types of cancellation makes all the difference.

If for example I offer a stamp in very good condition, with a small section of a circular date stamp cancel in an unobtrusive corner of the stamp - this is totally different to one that has been heavily cancelled with a wavy line or slogan postmark.

To put these same stamps as a multi listing is not really suitable ( it works for mint - but not used ) - unless I can offer multiple stamps, with individual prices within one listing. ? ( If that's possible please let me know )

But if I show a cds cancel on a multi listing and then send some an obliterated cancel, my ratings would soon take a backward step I suggest - and I doubt it will do much for the Ebid credibility either

So, as I say, I have no intention of breaking any rules, but is there some way we can work together on this please ?

Make sure the titles are different - this will prevent the problem. Add wavy cancel. Or circular cancel. Or add a listing code you make up.

If the titles are the same then they will be picked up as a duplicate listing. What some sellers do is put a number at the end to prevent this. So it could be "Penny Black #1" and "Penny Black #2".

Ah - OK - egg on face guys - for some reason this same stamp had listed twice and I had not noticed -- so my fault ( or can I blame the software ??? )

I usually put my reference at the end of each title, so I can readily locate it when it is sold - e.g ( page ref / row number like M 7 - page M, row 7 of the stock book simples !

having seen others that have 10 or more of the same stamp listed ( all different cancels ) I wondered why I was being singled out

Oh well back to listing a few with my tail between my legs

Ok, now confused

I have just had a listing deleted for the same reason - and the title is different ????

Emailing Ebid now



UPDATE
Now sorted and listings reinstated. Apparently using special characters can confuse the system - many thanks to those that helped and Ebit Support
