    Default At your own peril...

Came across this in an instruction manual.

    Attention!
Only fix the holder for the pocket PC to the wind-screen if it does not impede the view. Should this not be possible, then mount the holder with the enclosed suction plate in any way that will allow peril-free and safe operation.
    Just loved the phrase 'peril-free'.

My favorite, I purchased a jar of peanut butter. On the back label I found:

    Allergy warning: Contains peanuts.

It was reassuring to know the peanut butter actually had peanuts in it.

Or the hair dryer warning--"Do not use in the shower" Now I'm not a smart man, but by some miracle you wern't electrocuted, wouldn't it take forever to dry your hair while standing under a shower? Maybe its just me.

Just over a year ago I was researching expandable hosepipes. I wandered amongst the Chinese Mall sites and read this piece of advertising "puff" which I thought might amuse. It is genuine I assure you. The remarkable thing is that it is comprehensible, although it defies analysis:

Yesterday i go to Walmart supermarket to shop with my family.I there select shrimps near the glass case of river fish with my 11-month old daughter.Suddenly one water injection spray to me without my notice,my face,my clothes and my hair is wet because of water,it is so cold,so afflictive,so furious and so awkward.

After calm,i go to check the water nozzle which spray the water to me when wash the glass case of river fisher. It is 2-way hose nozzle from fine mist to spray cone, the spray cone function is high power,it is usually to wash car in personal garden.

As walmart supermarket, why they use this 2-way hose nozzle? Why not choose multifunction water spray nozzle? If not spray to me,spray to my 11-month old daugher, what will happen?

I suggest strongly supermarket as walmart to use multifunction water spray nozzle in pulice as BB-201031 6-way water spray nozzle. When open and consumer ship, worker can use show function to wash.this function is so gently, not worry to spray water to consumer. If better, use multifunction water wand.

I love reading foreign texts translated into English, especially the likes of Chinese and similar where there a lot of words which just don't have comparables in both languages
