Customer address details

Hello all. I have just sold an item to a customer who messaged me to let me know she had only just changed her address details on ebid. She has paid, the Paypal and ebid customer details addresses tally, but the ebid packing slip doesn't.
I'm assuming that the new address hasn't uploaded to the packing slip. I have emailed the customer asking for clarification. For my own reference, does anyone know if new addresses automatically upload to the packing slip, or is there a time delay?

is the packing slip from paypal? If so I believe it updates as soon as you press save.

The packing slip is the ebid produced one, It doesn't tally with the ebid customer contact details. As the customer told me she had just updated her details, I'm wondering which is correct. She hasn't got back to me yet, in the meantime I'm trying to work out which bit of ebid updates itself first. I'm also wondering why everything doesn't update at the same time.

I would assume the packing list would contain the address that was registered at the time of purchased and would NOT update to any addresses later registered. If they updated old packing lists they would then alter details on things bought years ago.

The best way to discover if this is true would be to contact Support

Customer has got back to me.The ebid packing slip was still using her old address. I think I'll use the Paypal packing slip in future if ebid doesn't update its system adequately!
I think I will raise this with support. If packing slip addresses are out of synch it can only lead to confusion.

Problem solved: I have been in touch with support, who were very helpful as always. If a buyer changes their address details after they made a bid (as happened in this case), the ebid packing slip will only show the address at the time the bid was made.
Something to be aware of in case any one experiences this.
