Anyone wanting to create a Store Banner, I can recommend this page by Jeweleffects with easy to follow step by step guide.
The only thing to watch out for is when you check Custom and add the 310 and 90 in the boxes as you're doing other things it jumps up and checks the top option, so before you click to Update Banner make sure the custom option is checked.
