Default A Grab Shot from a Pocket Camera

I have been busy working in my home office (spare bedroom!) and thought I would go and get some coffee on, I looked out of the window and spotted a squirrel, grabbed my pocket camera put it to full zoom and grabbed this shot...

    Attachment 43785

I am pleased because it was a grab shot, they usually turn out very blurred on full zoom

Nikon Coolpix S5100, full zoom, auto exposure and auto focus.

The mess they make of the lawn I am sometimes tempted to take a different type of shot at the squirrels in our garden!

Actually, what's more of a worry is what they can do to wiring and roofs. We had squirrels somehow get under the tiles on our roof, eat through the felting, and make a huge nest. Never saw or heard them. Then, when we had big rains, water flooded the dining room, ruining wallpaper and warping the wood floor. They, and rats and mice, also like to chew plastic around wiring and hoses

Every grey squirrel hopefully, and give the native red squirrel a chance to recover.

Why do squirrels swim on their backs?

    To keep their nuts dry
