Better Sales - Fairer Fees

I have just analysed my sales for the last 6 months. As well as eBid I have also been selling elsewhere and was shocked to find my auction fees (incl PayPal) on that other site averaged just over 15% of turnover! Not only that my 6-month turnover was twice as much on eBid as on that other site. With much fairer fees and better sales potential I will be concentrating more on eBid in the future.

Though I wish my fees were that low on the other site !! My fees as a percentage of sales for last month was 23.04%!!

eBid is much fairer and sales are steady

And that figure includes 15% discount on fees for the premium service thingy!!

Were you only asking whether it was a good idea to pull all of your listings on ebid recently?

Not quite. I was considering removing all the seemingly dead ones (probably about 50% of my listings) and replacing them with fresh items. Instead, on advice, I have decided to keep all my older listing on the site and keep adding new ones. I was a little concerned that items that clearly that aren't selling quickly were making it harder to buyers to find the more popular ones.
