    Default Maximumcards - Maxicards

I am a postcard collector that has accumulated an amount of stamps, no expert, just a hobbyist.

A few years back I purchased a box of 1000 postcards in Germany, I never really looked at them until this weekend.
I have discovered a lot of Maxicards amongst the collection.
I confess to not knowing much about the art of Maximaphily until I researched the subject over the weekend.
A lot of them are also FDI with the correct postmark, a lot are not FDI but have the correct connection between card, stamp and postmark.
There are however, a lot of postcards that have all the correct elements of a maxicard, but, the stamp and postmark are on the 'normal' side of the postcard.
My question is, what should they be classified as? postcards, almost-maxicard, or covers?. Maybe there is no specific classification?
Again there are a lot of FDI amonst them.

According to wikipedia, if the stamp is on the wrong side it's not a maxicard.

    Thanks for your reply Madelaine.

    I've discovered this article..

What do you think of these regulations for competitive exhibitions? Fanatical?

Quite worrying, those rules! But that's competitions all over!

Admitting that you don't know it all is wisdom in my book.
