Ahhh... the reason for that may be that the postcard collectors companion is in the description but picture postcard annual 2015 edition is not. So I go back to my previous suggestion - the listing is there but the title has not been indexed for searching yet.

    Cross posted with your response.

Finally the title is indexed and searchable.

Seems GS is a bit sluggish.

Well, try as I might, I can't see it myself - losing faith - I only see it if I put in the second half of the title...

Hmmm... it's gone again. Definitely there the last time I looked.

I would try relisting it - or at least doing an edit, to force eBid to resubmit it to Google.

If editing, how about putting the title in the description also?

Thanks again Mel - relisted now as suggested - watch this space!

Having a little trouble here myself. Most of my items I never check to see if they are on Google, they will sell eventually one way or another... no rush! However certain higher value items I am more anxious to advertise and sell quickly.

They seem to appear on Google shopping for a few hours then disappear. I have tried relisting and they appear again only to vanish again after a few hours. Is Google taking them off, or eBid? Or are they actually still on Google but just not showing up on a search?

Wondering if there is anything wrong with the listings, they have brand names and UPC codes, have tried messing about with the titles and the item descriptions to no avail. Even tried changing from free listings to gallery listings as thought eBid might prefer to upload something they were going to make 2% on in preference to something they would make nothing on...

Really frustrating as I have the exact same items on eBay at higher prices to reflect the higher fees and trying to draw attention to the price difference to show how eBay is a bad place to shop and eBid much better... but because of Google people aren't seeing the listings and I'm stuck with selling on eBay at full RRP as people aren't aware of the bargain prices I offer here.

Anyone see anything wrong with these listings that I can improve? Or is it just one of those random things that happens?

    Any suggestions appreciated!

No, nothing wrong, they are both there. You just need to appreciate how Google Shopping works. You have the same issue as on this thread: http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...=1#post1642048

Thanks! Do you mean the bit about "compare prices from x stores"?

I know about that and have been checking it. You are right they are there now but they certainly weren't there a few minutes before I wrote the above post! Scary.

Searching on "Hornby R3232" earlier this morning gave the result "compare prices from 3 stores" not including mine. Now it says "compare prices from 4 stores" and it does include mine.

    Coincidence?

    Thanks anyway!

Just going away from specifically dealing with Google Shopping........

    The keywords in the titles:

Hornby R3232 Class J15 65445 BR Black Late Crest

    Could be (for example):

Hornby R3232 Class J15 65445 BR Black Late Crest OO Scale Model Locomotive Train

This would help buyers find your items on eBid, Google Organic (Google.co.uk) and Google Shopping.

If someone does an eBid open keyword search of OO Scale Locomotives to see what is available then your item (at present) will not appear. Buyers who have that exact item in mind to search for on Google Organic will likely do a more specific search. So if they searched Hornby R3232 OO Scale your listing would likely appear so low down as to be almost invisible. Relevance has a big part to play on any search engine in the keywords that a buyer uses - miss some out and visibility goes down.
