I said that in the first line of my reply. You are free to question/complain - just don't expect it to achieve anything. I usually have a quick moan and then move on.

OK, look at it this way.

Course of action A leads to a negative result that lasts for a long time.
Course of action B leads to a negative result that lasts for a shorter time.

Pick a course of action: A or B.

I understand what you are saying. Just don't like the choices. No disrespect intended to you or anyone else here. Just hate the status quo.

i'm actually shocked at the number of threads that simply vanish on this forum and as far as i know there seems to be little or no reason for this....as far as i'm aware the rules that govern what can and can't be said are in line with any other forum....yet despite, as far as i'm aware threads sticking to theses rules, the still vanish.

One poster did actually force a response from Ebid themselves regarding this draconian behaviour and apparently the answer was that the threads that are deleted are done so at the request of members ....and Ebid ....so they told us, do not interfere with this part of the site...unless a report is made....so....that leaves a lot members (or the same one), making a lot of spurious reports.

is this feasible?....lastly, its the one main irritation that i have with the site and i've seen many people cease contributing to any thread now as no doubt, they conclude that they're wasting their time.

I moderate on another forum and always let a poster know if I ammend/edit/delete anything that isn't my doing... common courtesy!

I would expect the same on here - that's all - so now I close the thread
