I chatted with one of them (they have a spare one for tourists to talk to!). I feel really shaken but, obviously, not as shaken as the soldier's family.

We commented to one of them earlier in the week that the security was far less than in UK.

I suspect that Canadians now live in a different world from last week.

While they may not have officially been designated as jihadists, two suspected extremists who killed Canadian soldiers in shooting and driving rampages followed instructions issued by al-Qaeda and the Islamic State group to the letter.
