what makes folk bid on one thing and not another? My green tick nicking goes on things I really like, then amusing items or descriptions, then things that i don't want but will bid on, then if someone has been nicking all my ticks i'lll nick theirs just for badness I usually stop bidding late on day 3 if it looks like i would run out of money if i won it all!
