My username is in the login to ebid box when I open ebid...

Yes, It is happening to me, too, but it doesn't mean you are logged in - it takes a password to do that.

Have you ticked the remember me box. I always do as then i only have to put my password in and as it is not a public laptop it is not a problem

I made sure I wasn't logged in by clicking 'continue' and it didn't work.
I haven't ticked the 'remember me' box either.

I'm also getting the time error mentioned in Gills post in 'website glitches'.
As I got caught up in the maladware thing at the weekend I thought it might be something to do with that.

Do you clear your cookies when you log of the internet, the rememeber my requires the cookie is saved, so if you clear them then it can not remember you.

The login for the forums is different to the site login.

I'm permanently logged in to the forums whereas I login to the site on a daily basis.

I too have noticed that my name always appears in the eBid user name/email box. I just delete it and do the usual.

The 'remember me' box is only available on the forum login.

If I remember correctly, the login to your account 'forever' doesn't work and is not needed.
