YDC 127 Announcement Thread - Guide Dogs UK 24th - 28th November 2014

Good afternoon YDC'ers!

I think some good points have been raised on the run up to YDC 127.

So, for this month only, I will accept listing run times of 4,5,6 or 7 days when deciding the competition "winner".
All other competition rules will remain the same.

Maybe it would be good idea to "brainstorm" YDC early in the New Year .... to keep YDC up to date & relevant.

Now I must try & find my camera (I know it's around here somewhere).

Thanks Vonz for this info., I think I'll leave my YDCs as is for this month. I agree, a convo about YDC would be good for the new year. I'm pretty open minded, so whatever is decided will be OK with me.

I'll be leaving mine at the usual 4 days, works just fine for the rest of the year, see no reason or point in changing it at 24 hrs notice.

Too many lovely, scrumy choccies to choose from, how do I choose just one, as I can't be greedy (or maybe I can ) and bid on more than one.
As for the Old Jamaica, I don't remember when I last had an Old Jamaica, I didn't know you could still buy them, and, and you're tempting me with something I shouldn't have, as I was recently diagnosed as diabetic, though plain chocolate is ok, or at least more ok than milk chocolate, raisins are bad and rum is bad, oh well, one out of 3 will have to do.

For anyone reading this, who's thinking of bidding on Vonz's Bournville Old Jamaica chocolate bar, let me assure you it is an acquired taste, you won't like it, your partner won't like it, your parents and grandparents won't like it, your kids and grandkids won't like it, your neighbours and their kids won't like it, anyone from any pub or club you go to won't like it, even your dog will turn their nose up at it. Consider yourself warned.
