I've yet to be convinced that any upgrade except gallery is worth the cost

so is it better to run until sold/cancelled or a shorter period of time then have higher fees? thanks for the reply.as I thought I might get some sales if the auction is shorter?

I made the mistake of running my listings as 'featured' when I first joined, not realising that I would be charged every time they are relisted. Now, they are run in a mixture of 7-10 days so that they are evenly spaced, but all my listings are 'Buy It Now'. On eBid, I don't think it will make much difference to sales if you have a shorter auction. It's probably more important to ensure your items are eligible for Google Shopping, whether they are auctions or not.

Run till sold has the effect of keeping your listings at the bottom of every search - so choose a length of listing and set to autorepost the max number of times.

I do 14 days but most seem to prefer 7-10. It's up to you.

I have very little compitition for my comix.
I don't mind being at the bottom of a short list.
So all my items are Run Till Sold.

the first thing you have to do with featured is work out if its worth the cost of a £ compared with the normal listing price,

featured is excellent value it is not dependant on ranking in search results , the higher the value of a featured item the better value featured offers, featured stays at the top of search results for 60 days then reverts to a normal listing, if a featured item is above yours thats because it was listed before yours, these are the only items that will show above yours, ( for 60 days) so it does not matter how many items are in the cat so list ,run till sold , will work for 60 days, i have used it a few times on expensive items and they sold.wether they sold because of being featured, or the item was searched via ebids search engine or some one looking in my store i dont know,

you should also click the help tab at the top left of the page and read all the advantages disadvantages for all types of listings
