Default Fake Sat Nav DVD disc - getting a refund

I bought a sat nav dvd for my jag for £9. Only after paying did I research and found out that copies of DVD's can, and has damage the command unit.

The auction made no mention that this disc is a copy. Under the distance selling rules I can claim a refund for mis selling. I have sent a message to the seller, no reply so far.

My question is, if I do not get any cooperation from the seller what will eBid do to help me get a refund?

eBid do not get involved with buyer refunds. If you paid via Paypal, then that is where you start your claim - be prepared to send back the item to the seller.

Double check on the returns procedure as it can cause other problems. Sending counterfeit goods through the postal system is a criminal offence, already committed by the seller apparently. Returning such goods through the postal system is equally so.
