Used firefox and bing for years. No problems to speak of.

I use Firefox, and only when I have to IE, got 1 programe that requires me to use IE (not happy about it)
Screen grab of the browsers used by my visitors.
I use Internet Explorer and I know it does have problems with some websites.
I do like Duck Duck Go and Blekko
I have Foxfire, and need to figure out how to make it look like IE.
I had used Google Chrome. Hate it. It's the only time that I have so much junk mail show up.
The few days I did use it, I had over 70 spam mail each day. If I use IE, I would get maybe 2 or 3 spam mails.

I use Firefox, Google is my default search but I've got several on the popup menu.
I had heard good things about Chrome, but I couldn't figure out how to get toolbars, and couldn't find a help forum or tutorial, so I gave up. Now I've gotten used to Firefox and it doesn't seem worth the effort to try again.
I use Chrome as my browser; the others are in the background in case needed for checking something, and i have "Adblock Plus" switched in as an extension. As I write it is blocking 4 advertisements on this page.
I do not use toolbars or Google or Bing, at least not directly. I've mentioned here once or twice that I use what is known as a clustering engine, "Carrot2". Within seconds it has done a trawl through the search engines and produced a set of results which are grouped according to actual subject concerned which avoids the frustration of having to look through or past dozens of irrelevant entries.
For example there is a thread going here about changing the US name of ebid. Hilarious! As an experiment I entered "ebid", just that, into "Carrot2". On the left of my screen appears a list of folders each of which will contain similar entries. Across the first five folders are 33 links to the ebid we know.
All the others are there too, but lower down as they are of very infrequent use, especially "Elephant Butte Irrigation District" which appears not to exist any longer...well I had to look!
The main part of the page selects all until you select a subsuming folder from the list; if you prefer you may use a pie chart or a foam tree. I'm attaching a shot of part of my screen:
Tia's Treasure, don't shoot me, i just feel the same as you, with the same problems, so i just copy and pasted,........... Happy New Year

I use Firefox, to which I converted after trying in vain to get on with Chrome.
I use Startpage as a search engine because it doesn't allow my internet activity to be monitored by Google.
I stay away from Google, and anything connected to Microsoft, and get little junk mail, no pop-ups, and the reassurance that my business is my business, nobody else's.
