Thread: What browser do you like best for eBid?

  1. #1

Default What browser do you like best for eBid?

I was using Chrome for most things, but eBid had a Chrome glitch for a while, so I downloaded FireFox and starting using that for eBid.

Now FireFox is teamed up with Yahoo from what I read. (I was getting directed to a Yahoo search from FireFox and that spooked me so I deleted FireFox.)

What browsers do you like to use for eBid and in general too?

I use Firefox - and still use Google as my default search engine.

Don't get on with Chrome at all.

I use exactly the same as Annie - Firefox with Google search engine. Never had any problems with that combination.
I once tried Chrome (just to see what it was like) but it was a lot of hassle so I got rid of it.

If, on Firefox, you go to Edit > Preferences > Search and then uncheck the other Search Engines you should always have Google as your Search Engine.

I use Chrome depending on what I am doing.
If I am creating templates then I use Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer for display confirmation.

I have ended up with fire fox as chrome went haywire but I am hoping it's nothing to do with yahoo as i have enough trouble with BT yahoo ( my ISP).

I use Firefox, with a nectar toolbar which provides a yahoo search with benefits (nectar points). If Yahoo doesn't yield what I want, then I go to google (and bing & everyclick).

Haven't opened another browser for years.

For myself Firefox. I have Chrome if I want to make sure that Firefox is behaving.

    My customers use (rounded figures):

    Firefox 30%
    Chrome 26%
    IE 24%
Safari and other mobile browsers: 20%

Only a matter of time before Safari overtakes everything.
