for that sort of money you could buy an old factory and fit it out in a basic manner to hold 10s of refuges at a time , is the miliband name worth that sort of money does he bring in a % more than hes paid ? would that same money still be there if he was not,?do you think its just a well paid job to him, ? or does he really feel he needs to help refuges ?

Who else is voting against it?

The background to this one in that in Scotland Sunday is regarded (as far as trading legislation is concerned), as normal working day. However, there is some sort of voluntary agreement in place, that employees get paid an enhanced rate. The powers that dictate all this sort of stuff are still reserved to Westminster and the SNP, as far as I'm aware, are currently trying to have this power devolved to Holyrood.

The thought process behind the objection, is that if Sunday trading is extended throughout the UK then it will be regarded as a normal trading day throughout the UK. The companies can then argue that there's no need to continue to voluntarily agree to pay their staff more and can then cut the pay of the workers in Scotland back down to UK levels. So although on the surface the vote doesn't affect Scotland, in practice it will. Hence their objection.

The oft comparison of Jeremy Corbyn to Worzel Gummidge is unjustified. Worzel eventually found his 'clever head' in the schoolhouse chimney - where he had previously hidden it. Jeremy's clever head must have gone on the compost heap and is long gone.

The Labour Party is standing up and demanding the Tories withdraw their planned cuts to Personal Independence Payments for people living with disabilities.
Osborne's Budget has unfairness at its very core. He's offering tax breaks to the wealthiest, whilst making it harder for people with disabilities to get the very basics like getting help to dress, leave the house, or go to the bathroom.
