Just wanted to praise Royal Mail

I won an item in the YDC auctions which ended yesterday, 28th January, I paid for it yesterday, it was dispatched yesterday (Thank You liverdodo) and with a Second Class Large stamp arrived today.

Well, that is excellent. Mind you I did once sent a package to the US using surface mail. It made it in under a week!!!

I've sent items 2nd class large letter that have arrived the next day - and 1st class letters that haven't.

Now I won't use 1st class postage unless requested by the buyer.

I hardly ever use 1st Class, and have heard before about 1st Class post taking longer to arrive than 2nd Class post.

I've had a laugh when reading on the other site discussion boards from buyers who won't purchase from sellers unless 1st Class postage is used...

Maybe a good idea for you to start a new thread with your question.

I've no objections to topic drift or hijacking a thread, but if someone else is looking for the same answer they won't think to look under a thread titled 'Royal Mail are doing a great job'.

I spent ages looking to start a new thread I have managed before but couldn't find it this time - are you surprised I cant find out how to do the Photos?

LOL I'm just as dopey. which is why I can't advice you how to add photos, I've forgotten how I did it. D'oh.

Everything you need to know about eBid can be found here but then it's knowing where to find it there..erm...

To start a new thread click on 'eBid forums' (top right of screen) then scroll down to Kitchen Table (assuming that's where you want to start your thread) click on that, then the Post New Thread option will be there.
