My son has passed his driving test on 1st time

I know this is a bit of useless information, I just wanted to share.

I had phone call a short while ago from Alex, my son, he passed his driving test this afternoon on his 1st attempt.

Good for him!!! A wonderful achievement! I wish him many many years of safe and happy driving!

Cheers he's not got a car yet, that's when the worry will start, he's got 4 young boys, I did suggest he put one of those green 'P' on the car when he gets it to let other drivers know he's inexperienced, but no, he won't do that.

Alex has put a photo of his pass certificate on his Facebook page, the driving examiner's surname name is Christmas, a lovely name for when you pass, not so nice to be failed by Christmas though.

Congratulations to Alex. I think a 'P' plate only encourages other drivers to cut you up, overtake, and generally act ignorantly towards new drivers. He might be better not to use one.

Cheers. He's not going to use a 'P' plate, he thinks he has enough experience by driving forklift trucks, hardly the same, can't tell him that though. Surprised at your comments about drivers treating 'P' plate inexperienced drivers badly. Silly me, I thought the idea was to show these drivers patience and understanding, all drivers were inexperienced once.
