Vonz , I found that I didn't loose eye brows or eye lashes, but hair from everywhere else, certainly hair has grown back without a problem it started to grow as son as the chemo finished, we are think of you.

Evening Everyone .... time for another ramble ....

Today has been a funny ol' day, feeling very sickly but the medication seems to have kept it from developing further.

My two, oldest and best friends tipped up shortly after 9am this morning, complete with Marigold gloves and biscuits.
My kitchen and downstairs bathroom have been scrubbed to within an inch of their lives .... not a germ in sight!!

I just wish a cup of coffee tasted nice (I adore coffee), but it dosn't anymore. If fact my mouth is probably something akin to the bottom of a budgies cage .. and it's not pleasant!

We have had a good giggle today though, my wig caps have turned up. It's very easy to pull one too far down - ya had to be there lol It wasn't a pretty sight!

Tomorrow, if I am up to it ... retail therapy. Shelley is taking me out for bits n bobs, just new slippers and the like but a change of scenery will probably do me good!

I have had a good cry today ... but not because of my illness though ...
My middle Granddaughter is almost 16 and it is her school prom this year.
She wants me to choose her dress for her ... i'm sure you can guess her reasons.
Sometimes, kids can just knock you sidewards - cos she can generally throw a hissy fit in the blink of an eye!

Time to try and sleep methinks.

Hi Vonz,

It's very early morning here and I hope you were able to go to sleep. That is a bummer about the coffee; I'm an avid coffee drinker, under normal circumstances. But I had gone through an upper respiratory challenge for months, and had to put the coffee aside for a couple of months, as it was dehydrating me. I was shocked, but I was feeling so bad, that I hardly missed it. Now I am drinking coffee again, and realizing just how much I missed my coffee.

Enjoy your shopping outing with your daughter, you have certainly earned it. That attitude poster is great!

Well you continue to fight the good fight! We are all very proud of you; you have accomplished so much in these few short weeks.

I lost my taste for chocolate during chemo I also remember that the various side effects ( headache, sickness, aches, etc) followed a pattern, so I soon new that it was going to be a head ache day, or a nausea day.....and I was prepared for it

Hang in there Vonz. Friends and company (as well as shopping) are the best cures I know of for almost anything.

I had a real fancy for some chocolate today ... but then it tasted absolutely dire when I had some (I could've CRIED!)

Well, I have spent an absolute fortune today, bits here, bits there, with absolutely nothing spectacular to show for it lol
I did manage 3 hours around Washington Galleries on minimum pain relief though.
The highlight was definately watching Shelley and my oldest Granddaughter getting their eyebrows threaded .... I could feel their pain pmsl. I had mine done too, but I was slightly impervious to the discomfort iykwim.

While i'm busy having a massive clearout of general crud at home, i've stumbled upon some old photo negatives and today i've had them converted to digital.

Lord, what I would give to still look like that now!!

SIL is stripping my pooter down tomorrow & moving my desk & associated belongings into my bedsit. I'm at the hospital, so if nothing's working when I get back .... he's the one to blame.

I feel a little burst of energy coming on ..... maybe a few dishes washed and a load of washing in before bed.
