Is this a phone you can access the Internet with, whether you use it for that or not?

If it is, you may need to turn off roaming (or something like that)

Virgin Media were charging me £1 a day for having access to Internet, even though I didn't use it. My son turned it off for me. (I may have got the word roaming wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong )

Hi Emily, no it's just a phone, we have a blackberry as well but we don't use it as it keeps turning its self on I think that one used up about £40 before we threw it in the drawer.

That's a puzzler then as to where your credit has gone.

Doesn't 02 have a website you can sign in to check your credit balance and see what calls have been made and when and how much they cost...

What a palava, I have just had to top up £10 even though I already had a £28.36 balance to reactivate the number. how stupid is that I now have £38.36 balance just to use the phone in an emergency, these people caused me a great deal off stress last night trying to fix this pnone.

If you don't use your phone for any length of time with o2, you lose any remaining credit until you contact them to re-activate your account.

I've had to do this several times

Is this written into the purchase agreement anywhere?
It seems very wrong to me.... It's like buying a kettle and being told if I don't boil water for x period of time it will cease to work!!! It's ludicrous!
