I've been thinking for some time that I should do this, but I'm not sure how:
I thought I would put my URL link on the bottom of every listing, having changed it to "Click here if you want to join eBid free".
Can I do that in bulk edit?

Some people can gain several hundreds of Buddy Points in a very short time - without even the bother of buying or selling on the site. Find out how they do it and you are quids in. Don't ask eBid how they do it though or your account will be deleted.
Earning buddy points is outlined in help menu # 10
Used to be able to earn by signing up for different social networks, not sure if that is still being offered.
I get one or two a month through the link on my listings, and yes you can do it in bulk edit. This code was posted some time ago and puts a link in that matches the eBid format and looks professional:
<!--Start buddy code for kreative--></span>
<div class="boxit-only t40 b10 clear auction-description"><span style="font-size: x-large"><b>Need to Register?</b></span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-large"><b class="green">Haven't registered yet? </b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51,51,51)">If you like this item and would like to buy or place a bid you need to take a few seconds and </span></span><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51,51,51)"><a href="http://uk.ebid.net/buddy/981690"><span style="font-size: x-large">Join</span></a><span style="font-size: x-large"> eBid.<br />
<br />
Go to the </span><a href="http://uk.ebid.net/buddy/981690"><span style="font-size: x-large">Register</span></a></span><span style="font-size: x-large"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51,51,51)"> page to set up your free eBid account today!</span></span></div>
<!--End buddy code-->
You will need to put the description to HTML Box before adding. And remember to change the Buddy link from mine (though if you leave it I will gratefully accept the points).
If you have a website you can put your referral link on that, or Facebook or wherever you want, I think those who get hundreds a month without selling on here probably have successful sites where they refer from. You can build up the points, in my four and a bit years here I have had a camcorder, printer and Kindle from mine, and currently have about 110 points to spend.

Yes I know. Stupid me only changed one of the two links before I added it to my listings. I am gradually changing them but I have a big batch of listings that all finish on the same day so they have been overlooked somewhat. But I suppose that if anybody uses that link then Huddy will get a reward for creating the code.

Thanks for the help, folks, I'll give it a try.
With the original question, I didn't mean to imply that I was looking for some iffy way to do this.
But if the amazing bargains I list cause new buyers to join up, it seems only right that I get the credit.
