For what it's worth, every Sunday morning 3 different people have walked their dogs up one side of our street and down the other, hoping their animals would do their business..
I live on a dead end street and one morning when I saw the 1st one coming, I stood next to my shrubs, not hiding, but seemingly inconspicuous .
My hands held a good size digital camera that takes marvelous pictures... I never needed to click the shutter.
As soon as each 3 saw my camera in hand they about face and scooted....never to be seen again on my street....

Yes, I take a lot of pictures in the park too. One of our cameras is a good sized one. As soon as the dog walking people see my camera, the Off - leash dogs (they are not supposed to be off leash in in the main park) are called and put on leashes and the all dog owner behaviour improves considerably. I don't need to take a picture either.

    Actually i would prefer that.
My neighbor does not walk his dog.
He just lets it out, it dumps in my yard,
And when i mow the lawn...
    The **** hits the fan.
    (mower blades)

What i want to know is,
Who's hedge are we talking about?

LOL! Sorry, not funny, but I've heard that expression more times and never actually visualized it happening til now.

Camera is a great idea. I wish they'd cam the local park where I walk W. every morning, today we almost stepped in a big old stinky pile. Cams and fines would definitely discourage the offenders, either that or they wouldnt come back, IMHO no great loss.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Sorry !!! any dog continually does their business in my yard aint gonna be doing business of any kind for long.
I grew up in New York City, in the 1940s and 50s I recall the stench of dog crap. We had a few dogs and walked them so I'm guilty as anyone. Nowadays strict laws are enforceable if those affected want to use them.

Everyone is talking about the problem with dog poo. My problem is with cat owners who let their cats roam freely. Then they poo in my garden and dig up seeds and small plants.
Why is it OK to let cats roam but not dogs?

    What a crap thread

Whilst we are on the subject, how can we stop birds pooing on my washing when it's out on the line?
