I've never regretted joining eBid. It is not the mess that eBay is. It does take some learning to understand how things work, how to market, and how to sell your items. The site definitely does not spoon-feed sellers. You have to work to sell here. It keeps the fees low.

I've never started out on any site with any level of complexity (such as selling sites) where I have a got the hang of it within a couple of hours - and I like to think I am reasonably educated (some here may disagree with that) and computer literate. That's why I say that someone who throws is the towel within a couple of hours is not worth bothering with; they are either too inflexible to make the site work for them or they only came on to put the site down (it probably took them most of their time here to figure out how to leave a message on forums saying the site is a mess).

Just sorry that I never got the time to wave them goodbye.

Ditto this. Check out the forums, the Help videos and Mel's great info. page and ask questions, that's how we all learn and make sales.

don't worry Mel, I'm sure you will get a chance to wave them goodbye when they come in screaming blue murder that ebid are stealing $17 from them every month because they didn't notice that it is a Recurring Subscription they signed up for.
