I've gotten tired of logging in every week or month or whatever, and yesterday clicked the log on forever.

An hour or two later, had to log on again.

This morning I had to log on again, and onto the forums again.

Mine has been set on 24 hours for a long time now. Some days I stay logged in all day - others I have to log in again for some reason.

Sometimes it's my own fault due to clearing cache.... but there are some days when, for no apparent reason at all, I have to sign in again.

Do you clear your cookies when you disconect from the internet, staying logged on requires a cookie staying on your computer.

I am set to logon every 24 hours
... when buying I look in their 'shops' to see when they last logged on.
Not sure who recommended it when I joined - It is a habit now.

No, don't normally clear cookies when I shut down. May have once yesterday, but not twice. And I don't know what shows as last log in time for those who log in for long periods of time......surely that is taken into account by some automated system that updates. However, just looked at Sherlock's, and it shows the wee hours of the morning, so it's not a continuous update. Good point.

I also think I used to update whenever I got feedeback .. I know, I know
but it was exciting watching the numbers go up to 3, 4, 5 and so on
and yes, I still like it when feedback arrives

Not sure exactly what time I was on last night, but it was just before I retired for the night, somewhere around 12:30am. I think.

Just saying, Sherlock, that this is the time that showed on your store activity...so your last sign on time.

My husband has his laptop set so that it clears cookies every time he closes it down. Maybe that's it? Your computer settings?

Just checked, poppy - did a restart, and got on here fine. So, no, that's not the issue. Thanks, tho.
