    Default A place for pens?

I have recently been developing my fountain pen collecting hobby by cleaning up some old pens, tuning the nibs, refitting ink sacs and such like, and selling them at a big mark up on TOS (shocking I know, but bear with me!) The truth is that they are getting snapped up there before I get the chance to post them here. The pen collecting market is huge and it's worldwide.

However, my heart very much lies with eBid. I had good sales here last year when I put a lot of effort into selling general collectables. As we all know, eBid is much more fun and the rewards greater (if you work at it).

My dilemma is: Do I forsake guaranteed sales on TOS by selling exclusively here? It would have to be exclusive, they WILL sell on TOS before they do here. As I said, the market is buoyant and it would be good for eBid (and for me), if I could somehow capture some of it here. I know there are other vintage pen sellers here. Perhaps it may be worth collaborating with them to target social media? Facebook and Google + both have active pen collecting communities.

Do I let my heart rule my head on this occasion?

Any thoughts on any of the above will be appreciated as always.

By the way, if any of you have an unwanted fountain pen knocking around at the back of a drawer, list it for sale on eBid! Chances are, I'll buy it!

Congratulations on a fine hobby/skill in giving these items a new lease of life.

Well, you obviously have a client-base over there. Just let them know where you are and the should follow you!

Personally, I would list several here and then one at a time on the other side, making sure there was a flyer in with each one I sold there telling buyers where to find more.

Isn't there a planet to which lost pens migrate? - and another for odd socks?
